My Work

Jennifer's (Call with Some) Body

For my final project in Computer Animation, I had the creative freedom to animate a scene using one of the provided models. Drawing inspiration from films like Jennifer’s Body, Scream, and Mean Girls, I wrote an original script that merged elements of comedy and high school drama. I used AI voice generators to create the dialogue, which helped bring the scene to life and portray the overall tone of the scene. This project allowed me to experiment with storytelling through animation, combining my technical skills in Maya with a unique narrative vision.

Walking Animation

This project marks my first attempt at creating a walk cycle, completed just four weeks into my Computer Animation class. It was my introduction to Maya, and through this process, I gained hands-on experience with key animation principles. The project allowed me to explore timing, movement, and character design, laying the foundation for my continued work in animation.

Ocean Pledge Final Prototype

This project was developed by my group for our Intro to UI/UX class. We created a mobile app focused on marine conservation, using a pink dolphin—an endangered species from Hong Kong—as the mascot to engage users. The app allows users to adopt and customize their own dolphin, complete sustainability challenges, and compete with friends. It also offers opportunities for users to support real-world conservation efforts through donations and merchandise. The goal was to make sustainability engaging by incorporating elements of gamification and social interaction. Key features include a global journey for users to explore, fun facts about conservation, and a shop where users can purchase items that contribute to real-world efforts. Our design process was grounded in human-centered principles, ensuring that the app was both accessible and motivating for users to take action for marine conservation. The target demographic for this app is people ages 12 and up.

CyberStep

CyberStep is a Y2K-inspired footwear brand created for my Intro to UI/UX class. The design of the webpage was made for a high school student who is serious about their education and self-expression while navigating the challenges of fitting in. This student juggles school, a part-time job at a local restaurant, and extracurriculars like robotics, photography, and music, all while trying to figure out who they are and what they want to become. The design embraces a futuristic aesthetic, capturing the spirit of breaking free from the present and stepping into a personalized reality. CyberStep isn’t just about shoes—it’s about empowering students to embrace their journey and pursue their dreams, while staying true to who they are.

Crystal Music Box

For my midterm project in Digital Fabrication, I drew inspiration from my favorite childhood show, Sailor Moon. I transformed Sailor Moon’s crystal locket into a functional light-up speaker. I designed the 3D model using Fusion 360 and Blender, and handled the wiring for the speaker and coding for the LED light sequence. This project allowed me to blend creativity with technical skills, combining digital modeling, electronics, and programming into a unique, personalized creation.
